Does Wave interfere with the league play?
Not at all. In fact, we work to improve your child’s skills for marked improvement during their next league season!
Does Wave collaborate with the leagues?
Yes. We have multiple league partnerships in place at this current time. leagues rely on us to keep players sharp during the off-season and often refer players to wave to hone their skills in preparation for the upcoming season.
How are we different from others?
Wave does not participate in league play. We do reserve the right to participate in local and national tournaments during the off-season as well as black-out periods.
Does wave participate in the same type of tournaments that leagues do?
No. Wave tournament teams participate in tournaments during primarily black out periods and off season. We typically do not compete in the majority of local tournaments so we do not clash with club dates when they host their own tournaments. We choose high level tournaments and showcases that take the player away from the competitors that they compete against in the regular season. We select the tournaments based on visibility, location, level of play and accessibility. Our focus is on what’s next for our players, creating opportunities for whatever future play looks like to them.
